The restaurant at the Fox & Hounds sits beneath heavy timber beams and a stone fireplace, with tables laid for travellers coming in off the peninsula and locals stopping in for a long lunch. Our kitchen leans into what southern Tasmania does best: fresh local seafood, slow-cooked meats, hearty vegetarian plates, and desserts worth slowing down for.

The bar carries a careful selection of Tasmanian beers and ciders — including Cascade Brewery Co. on tap — alongside Tasmanian and Australian wines, single malt whisky, and a short list of warm drinks for cold nights.
